1. Ole Miss sanctions
Shea Patterson was granted permission by Ole Miss earlier this month, Dec. 2, to begin transfer discussions with other schools. Mississippi had just been slapped with a second post-season bowl ban for 2018 and further sanctions following a lengthy NCAA investigation into rule infractions and improper inference from school boosters.
