Rocco Spindler, one of Michigan’s top remaining targets and a top 50 player in the 2021 class, just announced his commitment to Notre Dame.
The 6-foot-4.5, 315-pounder from Clarkston picked Notre Dame over U-M, Penn State, Ohio State and LSU. He released that top five back in May, and since then, all the talk was centered around Michigan and Notre Dame.
Michigan recruited Spindler for well over two years now, offering him a scholarship back on March 25, 2018. That was just a couple months after Warinner was hired at Michigan, so this has been one of the longer recruitments during his time in Ann Arbor.
