Michigan State football lurks in the Big Ten — and for now, that's probably the best place to be.

Let those heavyweights duke it out. Concentrate on what you can control, which is getting the offense back on track.

The Spartans allowed the fewest points in the Big Ten last season, but also scored the second-fewest — not a great combination, which was reflected in its 7-6 overall record, and its 7-6 loss in the RedBox Bowl against Oregon.
