EAST LANSING — Xavier Tillman has a new addition.
No, not just his newborn son with the same name.
The elder Tillman will now wear "Sr." on the back of his No. 23 Michigan State basketball jersey, starting Tuesday night when the 24th-ranked Spartans host No. 17 Iowa at Breslin Center.
Tillman and his wife, Tamia, welcomed Xavier Jr. at 12:38 a.m. Feb. 17, weighing in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces, measuring 20¾ inches.
