Michigan State OL Tyler Higby shows off versatility working at three different positions

EAST LANSING - With a pair of returning starters on the offensive line out, Tyler Higby got the start at left guard in Michigan State's spring game on April 7.

It's the same position he held down on and off for the past two seasons, but this spring brought change and new challenges for the redshirt junior. In addition to working at left guard, Higby took snaps at center and left tackle and believes his versatility will pay off this fall.

"I think that will help me out and help this team out, whatever I can do to help just play any position if we need it," Higby said prior to Michigan State concluding spring practice earlier this month.
