Michigan State football's Jalen Nailor can fill the need for speed if healthy

This is the third in a series previewing three offensive and three defensive players off-the-radar who are critical to Michigan States success in 2019.

EAST LANSING — “Speedy” is not a nickname one acquires ironically. If you get it, you got it.

And Jalen Nailor showed in 2018 that he has it in abundance.

That type of game-breaking speed and play-making ability is something Michigan State football has lacked in recent years.

Playing as a true freshman, Nailor caught the longest pass of the season by any Spartan receiver (on an end-around flip) and had the second-longest run.
