EAST LANSING — It seemed not that long ago when Jacob Slade arrived at Michigan State football and learned as a rookie from Mike Panasiuk, Raequan Williams and Naquan Jones.
Five years later, Slade is now the veteran with an NFL future mentoring the Spartans’ younger defensive tackles.
“It's weird,” Slade said Thursday, “but I try to give as much wisdom as I can.”
