Former Michigan State football running back LJ Scott has withdrawn from the Senior Bowl due to an ankle injury, a spokesman for the college all-star game confirmed Thursday.

Scott injured his right leg on the second play of the second half of the Spartans' second game of the season, a 16-13 loss at Arizona State on Sept. 8. He played in just two more regular-season games, against Michigan and Purdue, after what coach Mark Dantonio termed an ankle injury.
