Undefeated and nearing the top 10 of the USA Today coaches poll, Michigan State football hits the road and goes to New Jersey to face the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
Saturday's noon matchup on Big Ten Network is sort of a revenge game for the Spartans, especially head coach Mel Tucker. In 2020's season opener, the Scarlet Knight's showed up to Spartan Stadium and walked out with the 38-27 victory.
Things are a bit different in 2021, while Michigan State is off to a hot start, Rutgers (3-2) is winless in the Big Ten after losses to Michigan and Ohio State.
