As of Wednesday afternoon, Sam and Joey Hauser took a trip to East Lansing for their final visit before making a final decision between Michigan State, Wisconsin and Virginia.
After deciding to transfer from Marquette, the brothers had a growing list of potential suitors along with plenty of interest, but they listed their favorites and planned visits. They both averaged in double figures in 2018-19 and helped lead Marquette to one of the best records in the Big East before getting bounced early by Ja Morant and Murray State.
The transfer was a surprise given the fact that Marquette was expected to be a top-10 team in 2019-20 with all big names returning, but there just seemed to be a chemistry issue building.
