The 2020-21 Michigan State basketball is much-anticipated, but who will be the stat leaders for the Spartans when they do return?
Tom Izzo is hoping for a 2020-21 season despite losing his two main leaders and contributors from last season. Heck, we’re all hoping for some sort of normalcy in sports and college basketball might be our best option.
Cassius Winston and Xavier Tillman are both gone and preparing for a future in the NBA as projected late-first, early-second round draft picks. Losing them is going to hurt both on the perimeter, as Cassius was one of the best 3-point shooters, pure scorers and passers in school history, and in the post as Tillman is the reigning Big Ten defensive player of the year.
