ROSEMONT, Ill. — Michigan State’s Cassius Winston is beginning the season a bit hobbled.

Coach Tom Izzo said Winston missed a few days of practice last week with a hamstring injury. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound point guard said he got injured during conditioning, though he appeared full-go in practice when it opened Sept. 24.

“I feel a lot better,” Winston said.
