EAST LANSING — This is the week Mark Dantonio has won far more than he has lost.
It’s the time in autumn when he has created some of the most defining moments in his tenure, disrupted football’s natural order in this state and attracted positive attention to a program long obscured by the shadow of its biggest rival.
There was the overtime triumph in 2009 that gave his Spartans consecutive victories over Michigan for the first time since the late 1960s.
