Former Spartan Bryn Forbes reportedly re-signs with Spurs

Bryn Forbes is reportedly staying put.

The former Michigan State guard and restricted free agent signed a two-year contract to remain with the San Antonio Spurs, according to a report from Yahoo! Sports.

Forbes went undrafted in 2016 before signing with the Spurs and spent the last two years with the team. He appeared in 80 games last season and averaged 6.9 points per game while shooting 42.1 percent from the field. According to Spotrac.com, Forbes made $1.3 million last season.

A Lansing native, Forbes won a pair of state tiles with Sexton High School. He spent two seasons at Cleveland State before transferring to Michigan State for his final two years of college.
