Don't blame Mel Tucker for taking Michigan State football job: Social media reacts

Michigan State football fans got a visit from the tooth fairy, Santa Claus and anyone else who brings good tiddings overnight.

That's because when everyone woke up Wednesday morning, we learned that Mel Tucker, the head coach at Colorado, had agreed to take the job in East Lansing.

The 48-year-old Tucker, once an assistant at MSU, had just one season at Colorado, and the Buffaloes finished just 5-7 in 2019. But he's a renown recruiter who played in the Big Ten and has coached most recently at Alabama and Georgia.
