The Big Ten ended spring football for the time being.

All organized team activities have been suspended until April 6 and will be re-evaluated at that time due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic, the conference announced in a release Friday.

Michigan had planned to hold offseason practices but canceled its April 18 spring game to the public. Michigan State had not yet made an announcement about its practices, which were scheduled to begin Tuesday, or its April 18 spring game.
