Graduate transfer defensive end Trevon Hill joined the Miami Hurricanes football program earlier this year from Virginia Tech. Hill was dismissed by the Hokies after a reported run-in with one of their coaches. Hill announced he had been selected for the annual college all-star game and scouting combine via Twitter on Tuesday night.
Hill has been a key part of the rotation at defensive end this season for the Miami Hurricanes. Hill’s biggest moment came when he pressured Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett into an incompletion on fourth down last month. That play clinched the Miami victory on the road and helped turned the Hurricanes season around.
