The Miami football team is coming off of a 7-6 season and blowout loss in the Pinstripe Bowl to Wisconsin. Florida finished 2018 10-3 and crushed Michigan in the Peach Bowl. The programs’ fortunes were nearly the opposite concluding the 2017 seasons. The Hurricanes were 10-3 in 2017, Florida 4-7.
The 2019 meeting between Miami and Florida is their first since 2013. The Hurricanes won 21-16 at Hard Rock Stadium. Miami has won seven of the last eight meetings. The Gators won the previous game in 2008 to break a six-game losing streak to Miami. It was Florida’s only win against Miami since 1985.
