Safety Jakobe Thomas was named the National Defensive Player of the Week and Coverage Defender of the Week, Akheem Mesidor was named to the National Team of the Week and Carson Beck, Keelan Marion and Francis Mauigoa were also named to the week 12 All-ACC team by Pro Football Focus.
Thomas was the highest graded Miami player by PFF for his performance in the 41-7 win over North Carolina State on Saturday, per David Lake of Inside the U. Thomas had three tackles, two interceptions, with one returned for a touchdown and one pass breakup with a 9.
