Last month, I wrote an article wondering whether Butler would receive any recognition for his 2020-21 season. He didn’t make the All-Star team this year. After missing 10 games with an extended stay in the COVID-19 health and safety protocols, Butler lifted Miami out of the bottom rungs of the Eastern Conference and into the playoffs.
