The Miami Herald’s Manny Navarro reported yesterday that the Miami Heat expect impending free agent Carmelo Anthony to sign with the Houston Rockets. Miami had met with Anthony during the Vegas Summer League earlier this month; ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski had said that Erik Spoelstra was a strong advocate of signing the 10-time All-Star.

This report from Navarro came a day after TNT’s David Aldridge tweeted that Anthony has told friends for more than a week that he’ll sign with Houston.
