Dolphins at Jets Week 3 injury report - Wednesday

The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets will face off for the first of two meetings this year when they take the field in New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. As the two teams begin their preparation for the game, the first set of injury reports are being released for Sunday’s contest.

The Dolphins had four players not participate in practice on the day: running back Jay Ajayi (knee), wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee), linebacker Rey Maualuga (hamstring), and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips (ankle). Ajayi and Landry are likely just precautionary measures to give them both an extra day off, while Maualuga is still working his way into shape and getting ready to play for the Dolphins for the first time.
