The Maryland Football team may not have been in action this week, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t trending upward.
When the Associated Press Top 25 poll was released on Sunday, it was revealed that the Terrapins received 84 votes. Only West Virginia (114) and Colorado (93) received more votes out of the group of teams that weren’t included in the Top 25.
Maryland was aided by the fact that No. 23 Tennessee and No. 25 UCLA both were upset on Saturday. San Diego State, Utah, and Oregon were previously unranked, but entered the top 25 poll in spots 22-24.
