Ed Woodward 'relishing chance of showdown with Daniel Levy' as Manchester United chief is eager to pit his wits against Spurs' tough negotiator in pursuit of Harry Kane

Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward is reportedly 'relishing the chance' to hold crunch talks with Spurs chief Daniel Levy over a potential signing of Harry Kane this summer.

United have long been admirers of the Spurs star and with fresh speculation surrounding the England captain's future, the Old Trafford club may look to go in for Kane once again at the end of the season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been in the market for a striker to lead the line for his side, with the club failing to secure a deal for Erling Haaland in January.
