'As soon as I see Solskjaer, I'm diving in for a slide tackle!': RB Leipzig boss and Bayern Munich fan Julian Nagelsmann jokes about his anguish at the Man United manager's dramatic winner in the 1999 Champions League final'

Julian Nagelsmann has joked he has never forgiven Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for his late Champions League final winning goal in 1999, and will be 'diving in for a slide tackle' when the two meet on Wednesday night.

RB Leipzig boss Nagelsmann grew up as a Bayern Munich supporter and was watching on as Solskjaer's late heroics secured Manchester United's status as champions of Europe.

Now 33 and an elite level manager, Nagelsmann will go up against Solskjaer on the touchline in a bid to pick up three crucial points and push ahead in Group H, but the German appears to have not forgiven his rival for that infamous strike.
