EFL Cup: 10 fringe players from Premier League clubs to watch out for this week

Wilshere was left at home for Arsenal’s pre-season tour in the summer, with the midfielder recovering from an injury suffered while on loan at Bournemouth. The 25-year-old is now fit and available for selection, but is some way off forcing his way into Arsene Wenger’s midfield. Wenger will give him playing time in the EFL Cup, though, and he’s set to make his first start since the end of the 2015/16 season on Wednesday night.

Earlier this month, Gray admitted he is “not happy” with his playing time in the Premier League and revealed he considered offers to leave in the summer.
