Arsenal could name Mikel Arteta as their new manager in the coming days, according to the Telegraph.
Former Gunners midfielder, 36, is currently on the coaching staff at Manchester City but it seems his move back to the Emirates is increasingly likely.
The Spaniard has been one of the frontrunners for the job since it was announced Arsene Wenger would be leaving the club, but it appear he is now out in the lead with Man City sources expecting the deal to be done.
Wenger has since endorsed Arteta, adding weight to his claim to the throne, although other men remain under consideration.
