OXFORD – The LSU Tigers earned a hard-fought 83-69 victory over the #18 Ole Miss Rebels Tuesday night in The Pavilion. LSU improves to 13-3 with the win, while Ole Miss suffers their third loss of the season.
Sophomore guard Tremont Waters led the Tigers’ scoring effort with 20. He also contributed nine assists and three steals. Senior forward Kavell Bigby-Williams recorded a team high 10 rebounds to go along with 14 points and five blocks in the game. Junior guard Marlon Taylor also contributed with 12 points, five rebounds and two assists.
