Spotlight in LSU spring football game will be on quarterbacks, newcomers

LSU wraps up spring practice Satuday in Tiger Stadium with the National L Club Spring Game. With more than a dozen starters and key contributors from last season gone and a new offensive staff in place, there is plenty of curiosity surrounding the action.

Here’s what I’ll have my eye on:

Quarterbacks

Shocking, right?

All throughout spring, Ed Orgeron, his players and even the quarterbacks themselves have declared the race among the three to be dead even. Saturday, we will all get to see for ourselves.

With new offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger still installing his offense—Orgeron said that process is about 35% complete—we surely won’t see the entire package.
