Baton Rouge, La. – LSU carded it's lowest round of the season in thanks to season lows by Garrett Barber (-6) and Connor Gaunt (-4) on day one of the Vanderbilt Legends Intercollegiate. The Tigers combined to shoot a 8-under 276 to position themselves in a tie for fifth after 18 holes of play at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.
Garrett Barber is one shot off the lead in a tie for fourth place with his 6-under 65. The junior had a solid round going through 13 holes at 1-under for the day before he closed out the round with five straight birdies on Nos.
