Former LSU football wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase was selected with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
Chase was the first wide receiver selected in the draft.
The former four-star recruit, who opted out of the 2020 season, had a season to remember for the Tigers in 2019.
Chase caught 84 passes for 1,780 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2019 while helping LSU to a 15-0 season and a win in the national championship game against Clemson.
