BATON ROUGE – A powerful performance by the LSU Tigers propelled them to a 89-67 win over the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday night in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The win extends the LSU home win streak to 17 games.

Freshman forward Naz Reid led the Tigers in scoring with 15. He also had six rebounds, two assists and a block. Freshman forward Emmitt Williams scored 15 and picked up a game high 13 rebounds to record his third double-double of the season. Sophomore guard Tremont Waters had 12 points, a team high six assists and two steals in the game.
