Weekly college football top 25 rankings are a big part of every season, and Athlon Sports will update its top 25 following the games each weekend. The first weekend of the 2019 season was headlined by Auburn's last-minute victory over Oregon, Boise State's road win at Florida State, Jalen Hurts' big performance in his Oklahoma debut, along with Utah's victory over rival BYU. Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and LSU take the top four spots, with Michigan at No. 5 and Ohio State at No. 6 in the post-Week 1 top 25 rankings.
