Louisville QB Jawon Pass to have season-ending surgery

Louisville quarterback Jawon Pass is done for the 2019 season, the program announced Tuesday.

Pass started the first two games of U of L 2019 season before being sidelined by a toe injury on his right foot. He will undergo surgery on said toe later this week.

A redshirt junior, Pass completed 24 of 46 passes for 330 yards and four touchdowns with one interception against Notre Dame and Eastern Kentucky to start the season. He also rushed 20 times for 104 yards and two more scores.

After two seasons serving as Lamar Jackson’s backup, Pass started nine games for Louisville in 2018.
