Louisville Football Recruiting: Jeremiah Pruitte Fills Big Need for Cards

The Louisville football 2019 recruiting class has been a slow developing one.

Bobby Petrino and his staff are always going to be selective, opting to choose the best fit for Petrino’s system, rather than the highest rated talents.

Petrino’s recruiting style has almost always paid off. His teams consistently land somewhere in the 30’s or 40’s in recruiting class rankings. Yet, on the field, he competes for conference championships, and always has his team around top 25 territory.

One big area of concern for the Louisville staff has been Tight End. Although the cupboard is stocked this year with 5th year senior Micky Crum, Redshirt Junior Jordan Davis, and promising sophomore Kemari Averett, 2019 and beyond will be an unknown at the position.
