Louisville football: 3 takeaways from the 2020 schedule announcement

The 2019 schedule was looked at to be one of the toughest in recent memory with games against Notre Dame, Clemson, Kentucky, Miami, and others featured. Yet Scott Satterfield and the Louisville football program were able to put together an eight-win season that concluded with a massive win over Mississippi State that has momentum at an all-time high.

Coming off of that win the national perception of the Louisville program has completely changed from what it was heading into the 2019 season as the Cardinals look to be a legitimate top 25 team. With the bulk of their offense and defense returning, including 16 out of 22 starters, Scott Satterfield has the chance to do something special in 2020 in just his second season.
