Around this time last year, there were some Los Angeles Rams fans questioning whether Jared Goff had what it takes to be the team’s quarterback under center after struggling as a rookie in 2016.
On paper, it may have seemed frustrating to see Goff go 0-7 as a rookie, but also keep in mind that the Rams didn’t exactly make it easy for the former California star with a poor offensive line and a weak receiving corps.
As bad as it sounds, most quarterback’s in Goff’s situation most likely would have struggled as well, but luckily his sophomore campaign was a complete turnaround.
