This offseason there has been plenty of speculation as to what the Rams will ultimately do as far retaining quarterback Jared Goff long-term. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz recently got an extension despite an injury-riddled start to his career, so where does that leave the Rams and Goff? While many have attributed Goff’s success to Sean McVay’s offensive system, it’s pretty hard to knock Goff’s stats or record over the last last two seasons. Sean McVay fielded questions regarding Goff’s eventual extension while meeting with the press at the conclusion of OTAs.
