Once it became pretty clear that Lamarcus Joyner was going to be too expensive to bring back for the 2019 season, the Los Angeles Rams entered the offseason in need of help at the safety position, which is where Eric Weddle would eventually come into play.
After spending the previous three years as a member of the Baltimore Ravens, Weddle found himself in need of a new team early in March following a release before the Rams convinced him to come on board shortly after on a two-year deal worth $10.5 million.
