Los Angeles Lakers: DeMarcus Cousins’ injury will not be an issue

DeMarcus Cousins inked a fresh deal with the Los Angeles Lakers in July, agreeing to a one-year deal worth $3.5 million.

This is not Cousins’ first career injury, but that should give the Lakers‘ confidence.

Per reports, Cousins was playing basketball and had to leave the court early after possibly bumping knees with another player. While he is still pending a meeting with the Lakers’ medical staff, test results confirm the tear in his left ACL.

Typically, NBA sources release information within moments of it happening. Confirming or speculating potential injuries rarely takes multiple days to report, especially for high-profile players like DeMarcus Cousins.
