The Los Angeles Lakers have signed No. 46 pick Talen Horton-Tucker to a rookie contract, the team announced on Saturday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, per team policy.
Horton-Tucker was acquired by the Lakers on draft night in a trade with the Orlando Magic. The Magic received cash considerations and a 2020 second-round pick in exchange for Horton-Tucker.
Horton-Tucker sat out of the Lakers’ summer league tournaments with a stress reaction in his right foot but he’s expected to be ready by training camp.
The Lakers’ roster now stands at 17.
