With the start of the regular season getting close for the Los Angeles Lakers, recent Lakers rumors have been about the starting point guard position.
This offseason, the Lakers were able to address a major need at the point guard position by signing Rajon Rondo. Last season, the Lakers were really weak at point guard behind Lonzo Ball, and the franchise clearly recognized it with the signing of Rondo.
Rondo is coming off a good season with the New Orleans Pelicans, and he clearly still has a lot left in the tank. While many thought that he was going to be brought in to be the backup point guard for to Ball, recent reports are that he is going to be the starter to begin the season.
