Andre Drummond signed with the Los Angeles Lakers on March 28, 2021 to provide relief while superstars Anthony Davis and LeBron James were out with injuries. He also rounded a centre-rotation that featured former Sixth Man of the year Montrezl Harrell and NBA champion Marc Gasol.
Drummond recently reflected positively upon his time with the Lakers. Jovan Buha of the Athletic recently wrote that Drummond’s future is tied to both Gasol and Harrell.
Buha continued that Drummond would likely need to accept a veteran minimum offer, or one of the Lakers’ available exceptions depending on who they re-sign.
