Justin Turner Expected To Be In Dodgers Lineup Wednesday Vs. Athletics

The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched an eighth consecutive National League West title Tuesday night, but longtime leader Justin Turner could only take part in the modest celebration due to being scratched from the lineup for the series opener with the Oakland Athletics.

Shortly after providing an updated lineup with Edwin Rios in it, the Dodgers announced Turner was replaced due to hamstring discomfort. He had been penciled in to start at third base for the first time since returning from a stint on the 10-day injured list for a strained left hamstring.
