Sometimes it’s hard to not get caught up in the wins and losses of a team. It’s difficult to remember that this is a game, and the love for it often starts at a very young age. If you’re a Dodgers fan born and raised in Los Angeles, you remember those first moments out at Chavez Ravine fondly.
So every once in a while when something pure happens on the field, it’s worth highlighting. Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly provided that moment this week in a game against the Cardinals, and he did it from a distance.
