It takes a lot of guts to keep chasing your dream even when it seems bleak. That’s why we gravitate towards a guy like Trayce Thompson.
There have been many instances in Thompson’s life where he could’ve called it quits from becoming a professional baseball player. Instead, he chose to keep fighting despite being shipped to three different teams in a matter of 16 days. Some injuries and more battles with adversity later, Thompson eventually found his way back onto the Dodgers roster and with one Mookie Betts injury, the rest becomes history.
Thompson is now heading into the postseason with an NL West title to his name.
