Dave Roberts and the Dodgers are right where they expected to be for the second half of the season. They are on top of MLB in the standings and appear headed for another World Series run. Aside from an 8-8 start and injuries to Rich Hill and Corey Seager, there was little adversity as the Dodgers jumped out to a double-digit division lead entering the All-Star break.
The second half of the season will begin today for the Dodgers and they will be tested from the start as they travel to Boston to play the team that beat them in last year’s World Series.
