Dodgers fans have been champing at the bit as we wait for the return of flamethrowing right-hander Dustin May. The flamethrower has been sidelined since early 2021 after suffering a season ending elbow injury that required reconstructive surgery.
Over the last few weeks, May has been building his arm strength back up while on a minor league rehabilitation assignment. Now we have a firm idea of when we can expect Dustin back on the active roster.
So, if all goes well, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts says the hurler should be back next week. First, everything needs to go well in his sixth and final rehab start on Sunday.
