Sometimes when you ask an obvious question, you get the obvious answer.
The Athletic ran a poll of nearly 200 current big leaguers, asking them a variety of question ranging from “Which stadium is the most intimidating postseason atmosphere?” to “Who do you want hitting with World Series Game 7 on the line?”
One of the questions they asked had some interesting answers for Dodger fans:
5. Who will win the World Series? (besides the team you play for)
Top result: Los Angeles Dodgers (39.5% of the vote)
The Dodgers’ share of the vote is almost twice as much as the next-highest team, with the Braves coming in a 21.
