The Dodgers have placed Joc Pederson on the paternity list effective today. Pederson had been away from the team since Sunday when Dave Roberts announced that he would be away from the team with a family matter for a few days. Roberts had previously alluded to the possibility of the team making a roster move as a result.
Joc and his wife Kelsey announced on social media back in April that they were pregnant with their second child. The Pederson’s later announced that they were having a boy in another social media post. The Dodgers outfielder also has a daughter, Poppy, who will now get to be a big sister.
